Genesis Hoops plays at Staples Center

Genesis Hoops took the Staple Center by storm during a Clipper game January 2, 2017.  Club travel team members had a great experience watching a Clipper pre-game workout, standing with players during the singing of the National Anthem, and playing in a on-court game at half time in front a sold out Staples Center crowd.

Junior Lakers 3on3 Winners!

Congrats to team Genesis for making history and winning the 12u division at the Los Angeles Lakers first annual 3 on 3 tournament held at the teams practice facility in El Segundo.  It was a great day and experience for each team.  We’re most proud of the sportsmanship and and teamwork demonstrated by each Genesis player in attendance.  Great job hoopers!

Genesis 12u and 11u take 1st and 2nd in San Diego Christmas Tournament

The Genesis Hoops 12u and 11u basketball teams ended the 2016 calendar year with classy 1st and 2nd place finishes in the San Diego Sol Christmas tournament.  The 12u finished 5-0 and the 11u ended 3-2 overall with great play all around.  Teams celebrated with some In-and-Out burgers after it was all said and done.
