IE High School Basketball Tournaments December 2014
The IE High School Basketball season kicks off with a series of great tournaments throughout the Inland Empire. Check out some of this exciting action.
Perris Auto Big Daddy Tournament – Games held at Citrus Hill High School and Notre Dame High School. Dates 12/2-12/6. Some Participating Teams: Tahquitz, Lakeside, Ramona High, Rancho Verde, Murrieta Valley, Perris High, Corona High, Arlington High, Riverside Poly, Notre Dame, Citrus Hill.
The 3rd annual Tip-Off at the Empire Tournament – Games held at Centennial HS in Corona. Dates 12/2-12/6. Some Participating Teams: Corona Centennial (No. 2 in the state), Rancho Cucamonga Etiwanda (No. 5 in the state), Rialto Eisenhower (defending Citrus Belt League champion), Temecula Great Oak (Southwestern League title favorite) and Temecula Rancho Christian (Div. 5A quarterfinalist last year). The round-robin tournament schedule is below:
Tuesday, 12/2/14: 6:30pm Rancho Christian vs. Eisenhower
Wednesday, 12/3/14: 6:00pm Eisenhower vs. Etiwanda; 7:30pm Centennial vs. Great Oak
Thursday, 12/4/14: 6:00pm Great Oak vs. Eisenhower; 7:30pm Etiwanda vs. Rancho Christian
Friday, 12/5/14: 6:00pm Etiwanda vs. Great Oak, 7:30pm Eisenhower vs. Centennial
Saturday, 12/6/14: 5:00pm Great Oak vs. Rancho Christian; 7:00pm Centennial vs. Etiwanda
Jurupa Valley Tip Off Classic Tournament (Jurupa Valley & Rubidoux) – Dates 12/1-12/5. Some Participating Teams: La Sierra, Norco, Fontana, Rubidoux, Montclair, Norte Vista, Jurupa Valley, Cheffey, Grand Terrace, Ontario, Summit, Carter, Fontana.
Beaumont Tip Off Tournament – Games held at Beaumont High School. Dates 12/1-12/6. Some Participating Teams: King HS, Beaumont High, Indio, Hemet, Cathedral City, Apple Valley, Banning, Redlands East Valley, Vista Murrieta, West Valley High, Yucaipa, Palm Desert, Paloma Valley, Hesperia Oak Hills.
MaxPreps Desert Holiday Classic – Dates 12/26-12/30. Some Participating Teams: John W North, King High, CA School for the Deaf, Riverside Poly, Tahquitz, Dana Hills, Mater Dei, Cathedral City, Torrance High, Palos Verdes High, Coachella Valley.
